Kenny - since people are not used to buying the cleaning services you want to offer I would start by getting some office cleaning accounts to get some money coming in. Then I would spend time networking and building relationships with people. Once you have a relationship with someone they will be more receptive to learning about the other kinds of cleaning you offer and refer your services when they have an opportunity.

I just started a cleaning business in Florida Commercial and Residential Family owned and operated, I have spoke with other company owner outside of my communty asking what should I Charge for Houses and offices etc. Most responed with it varies, I said ok well give me a rough estimate no respones to this date How do you determine a fee. also what do you think of the different agencies that will find you cleaning jobs for a fee

The people you talked to are right - it varies. Most people doing house cleaning charge between $25 - $35/hr so that's a place for you to start. As for commercial there are WAY to many variables. Size could be 2500 sq ft or it could be 50,000+ sq ft, and the pricing is way different for each. The type of commercial affects price too - offices, retail, industrial, medical, etc. - each are different in the way you price them. Frequency is another variable - once a week, 3 times/wk, 5 times/wk...
We help our member every day with these issues on our two websites. The small price is worth the wealth of information - http://www.thejanitorialstore.com and http://www.myhousecleaningbiz.com
