If you are a residential or commercial cleaning company, chances are you provide green cleaning services. And if you don't, you probably will at some point in the future, as that is the trend in the cleaning industry.
If you have questions about any aspect of green cleaning, we'd like to help!

I have recently set up a cleaning company and we don't have a budget at this time to join any organisations that would let us establish our credentials as a green cleaner...do you know of anything on the free to cheap range that will help us out?

Laurence,
There isn't anything out there that is free. I recommend that you start by getting educated. I have a free recorded webinar that would be a good place to start. You can sign up here:

We also have ebooks on green cleaning. They are similar but one is more for commercial cleaning and one is geared towards residential cleaning:

When cleaning with microfiber cloths, should you wash the each color in seperate loads?

Chris - no, if you buy good quality microfibers you can wash them together, although you may want to keep the ones you use to clean toilets separate. When you wash microfibers cloths, it IS important to wash them separately from other items. If you wash them with anything else you'll attract lint and fibers from the other items, which is not a good thing.
